Nose Bleeds

Nose bleeds are common in children and teenagers and often occur for no reason.

Treatment:

 ¨      sit down, lean forward and breath through the mouth

¨      pinch the soft part of the nose for about 10 minutes

¨      once the bleeding has stopped try not to blow the nose or sneeze

¨      avoid hot drinks for a few hours
