COUNSELLORS
Linda Culkin
and Joanne Dickson
Our Counsellors take referrals from our GPs to see our patients who
need counselling on issues such as bereavement, depression, stress and
relationship problems. Joanne works with us on Tuesday
mornings, whilst
Linda is in on Fridays. Our
Counsellors also work closely with the Psychotherapy department at St
Catherine’s hospital and if the times that they are available here at
the practice are not suitable for a patient or a patient would prefer to
see a male Counsellor an appointment can be
arranged via the team of Counsellors who work at the hospital.
The waiting list for counselling is usually about twelve weeks for routine cases but if the doctor feels your case is
more urgent then arrangements can be made for you to be seen sooner.
