Raised Temperatures

 The temperature can be lowered by:-

 ¨    Drinking cool fluids

¨    Undressing the patient and removing any bed covers

¨    Sponging the patient all over with lukewarm (not cold) water

¨    Giving the patient paracetamol (see dosage instructions under Sore Throats)
