THE WALK-IN CENTRE

There is an NHS walk-in centre at Arrowe Park Hospital – next to the A& E Department.   It is open from:

8am to 10pm on weekdays

8am to 10pm at weekends and on Bank Holidays

The Walk-in Centre is staffed by Nurse Practitioners and they can treat a range of minor illnesses.  You do not need to make an appointment to be seen here (unless you require a blood test between 9am and 4pm on a weekday in which case you need to book ahead by ringing 488 3706).  The Nursing Staff may refer you to be seen by the GP who is now co-located with them.
